Rainshield has updated the old, tired look of the building and helped bring it up to VBA compliance. By removing the problematic box gutter our team has stopped the threat of future water ingress and created a unique and stylish design; beautifying the now multiple sections of roof area.
The building’s roof has been expertly replaced with Kliplock .48 profile roofing sheets, as well as new gutter, flashings and capping to the whole apartment complex. Our customer chose the Colorbond colour Surfmist for its heat reflective and thermal efficiency properties, with matching capping and flashings to give the building a modern look – while still retaining its original charm.
The committee was delighted with our finish and their previously rusted and run-down roof now stands distinctly apart from nearby Elwood homes.
